Greenfield Public Schools New FamilyID System.
Coach Carter October 19, 2015

GPS has a new way of getting parents permission for their child's athletic participation consent. Introducing FamilyID. FamilyID is a secure registration platform that provides you with an easy, user-friendly way to register for GPS programs, and helps GPS be more administratively efficient and environmentally responsible. When you register through FamilyID, the system keeps track of your information in your FamilyID profile. You enter your information once for each family member for multiple uses and multiple programs.
FamilyID is mobile friendly. You can also scan and upload or take a picture on your mobile device of important forms like physical forms to upload to your profile. It will be helpful to have the following information handy to allow for accurate completion of your online registration such as your primary care doctor and health insurance information.
FamilyID replaces the white athletic forms that athletes need to fill out to participate in the athletic programs. It is important to create your FamilyID. To start your FamilyID, click here. For registration process, click here.

Crush Squad 3rd year at Rays of Hope Greenfield a SUCCESS!
Kym Rhayne October 2014
Rays of Hope have become an annual event for GHS Crush Squad. The team really enjoys it, it's breast cancer awareness, and they are are located in a favorable location with previous GHS band director, Mr. Paul Calcari.

Next year we are looking forward to the Stuntmen and Sir Crush to take part in Rays.

No practice space for Crush
Mary Poellnitz October 2014

Unfortunely, Crush was given the boot of their only safe practice. Coach Carter says she didn't receive a notice or a warning that the team were to lose the space. At this point, they practice where ever. This is not safe and limits the team from progressing as a unit. Massachusetts Secondary School Adminstrators Association require schools to provide cheer and stunt teams with mats at every practice and game.

Coach Carter is now working to get Crush Squad the safe environment they need to advance for competition.
