Coach's resume stretches over 23 years of experience. She began the head of Crush Squad in 2011. Coach Carter is an alumnus of this cheer team that maintained a two-year championship. She was captain her high school and college career. Experience in pro cheer training and was a member of the dance group CrazeFaze. She truly desires her position and looks forward to achieving goals that were also set for her when she attended GHS.
Crush Squad is the cheerleading squad for Greenfield High School in Greenfield, MA. Crush supports all sports at GHS as well as perform in the Franklin County Fair Parade, school pep rallies, and cheer competitions [if applicable].
Academic achievement is first priority for Crush members. It's important for members to achieve success in their high school career. Coach assists with academics by paying attention and encouraging team members to stay focused in their lessons. She also assists through strength training to
​build clear and focused minds. "Daily exercise and stretching helps clear the mind and promote focused thinking. It also helps relieve stress. School, homework, and peer pressure can be stressful on a young person.", says Coach Carter.

Membership on Crush Squad offers a unique opportunity for personal growth, leadership, and involvement in diverse activities. The attitude, dedication, & enthusiasm of squad members are just as important as the skills involved in other sports. Members of Crush Squad are committed to the highest level of athleticism, performance, self-discipline, respect for the school and others, personal exemplary conduct and the performance of all responsibilities related to the pursuit of school spirit and pride. Furthermore, Crush cheer demonstrates a proven ability to balance academics and demands with extra-curricular and personal activities.

Purpose
​It shall be the purpose of Crush Squad to promote and uphold team spirit for those we in encounter, to develop good sportsmanship by example, to support good relations in the community and between teams and squads during events. The organizational goal is to work in the harmony with the team Management and school Administration, other athletic teams and sporting organizations.

GHS Crush Squad Eligibility*
A cheerleader candidate must support Greenfield High School above all other teams.
A candidate may be male or female 8-12 grade student at Greenfield High School or 8th Grade Academy.
